Olaf Minge of St Paul, Minnesota will speak about
the US Army’s 99th Infantry Battalion,
a group initially formed to help liberate Norway
from Nazi occupation in World War II,
and which was almost exclusively of Norwegian descent.
Refreshments will be served.

200 Years of Norwegian Emigration

Sherry Johnson will present on Vesterheim Norwegian American Museum's 2025 Emigration Anniversary Tour.
Her presentation will detail the first organized group of Norwegians to come to America in 1825 on the sloop Restauration,
the subsequent emigration of 800,000 Norwegians,
and the commemorative sailing of a replica of the Restauration in 2025.
Refreshments will be served.
Anyone with an interest in Norwegian history and culture is welcome.

Annual Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner

LaSure's Banquet Hall (3125 S Washburn St, Oshkosh)
4:30 pm social time (with cash bar)
5:00 pm meal
Menu includes: lutefisk, Norwegian meatballs, potatoes, Rutabaga casserole, coleslaw, lefse and other Norwegian goodies.
$32 for adult Sons of Norway Members (any lodge) and their guests
$35 for adult nonmembers
$15 for children 7-12
Free for children 6 and under
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED and MUST BE POSTMARKED BY 10/19.
